Support Utility 3
When the Support Service Volunteer Unit is operating this stake bed truck it called Support Utility 3.
On large logistics operations, the Support Service Volunteer Unit has access to the Departments F-550 Steak Bed truck to move logistics supplies. Most of the time in will be used for the prepacked pallet basket with 1000 drinks (Gatorade and Bottled Water) for hydration, A ice freezer with 800 pounds of ice, coolers, canopies, and foam.





FUEL TENDER
The Fuel Tender is a slip-on external fuel pod that carries 350 gallons of diesel fuel. The pod is powered with a connector this pickup truck that can be special ordered from the shops at the time of incident. One of 7 fuel pods can be loaded by forklift on the the pickup at the time of the incident and delivered to scene for moble fueling. The pickup is also used for deliveries of supplies around the department.

The Fuel Tender is supported by the Support Service Volunteer Unit, but due to it's special lisensing the unit must be driven by an approved member of the Department. The volunteers are trained to operate the pod on scene.

FUEL PODS
Support Utility 2 is housed at Supply and Maintance North of Downtown, and is the primary response unit. This vehicle may have volunteer on standby during the weekend
